• Character  Counts Pillars Character Education is offered to students at SES. Character counts is the nation's most widely used character development framework. It is used in schools, youth sports and civic organizations. It is based on shared beliefs and consensus called the "Six Pillars of Character." Character Counts goals are to: 
     
     
    • Strengthen personal character traits
    • Build families with character
    •  Build a more cohesive community.


    To help achieve these goals, character coaches spend 15 minutes each week in classrooms, teaching students about the Six Pillars of Character:  
    TRUSTWORTHINESS, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, FAIRNESS, CARING, AND CITIZENSHIP.
