Hello! My name is Rebecca Johnston and I will be teaching first grade at Kent Island Elementary School. I grew up in Vermont and received my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont. I began my career as an Autism interventionist and have loved working with children ever since. I have a corgi named Buttercup. My favorite colors are purple and green. I enjoy the outdoors either hiking, kayaking, or skiing. I love camping at Assateague Island and my favorite Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is strawberry shortcake.
