Hayley Greenwood - 8th Grade ELA Teacher

I began my teaching career at a small private school, Radcliffe Creek School, where I worked for three years as an Orton-Gillingham Reading and ELA teacher. I graduated with my Masters in Teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland University in May 2020 and have a passion for teaching. I am a graduate from Queen Anne’s County public schools and will be working at a school I went to.

I was born in California, but was raised on the Eastern Shore. I have three younger brothers, two who also went to QACPS. I live in Millington with my four-year-old daughter, Lily, who will be starting PreK this year. My daughter and I love to cook and bake together. I also love being outside, running, hiking, playing sports (especially lacrosse), reading, and doing DIY projects. My favorite season is fall because I love sitting outside by the fire, Halloween/Thanksgiving and wearing oversized sweatshirts and flannels. I am excited to be a part of the Stevensville Middle School family and look forward to continuing my teaching career here!
