I am truly excited to be joing the Queen Anne's County Public School system! I have masters degree from La'Salle University and a bachelors degree from Salisbury University. I did attend Florida Atlantic University as well. During my time at Florida Atlantic University I lived on a sailboat, before finally moving into an apartment after 6 months. Previously, I taught special education in a neighboring county and bring with me 9 years of special education experience. I live in Queen Anne's County and have a child starting at Centreville Middle School. It is exciting for us both to be in the same school system!
You can find me on the warm weekends boating with my family on The Corsica River, the Wye River, The Miles River or the Bay. A year ago, I tried surfing, something I had always wanted to do! My son has now joined me and we love to go to the beach and practice surfing together (he is better than me already...). We are hockey fans (#ALL CAPS) and love watching my son's Icehawks hockey games. In the winter, we like to ski and snowboard. Reading is one of my favorite past times. Some of my favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Woman in White, Rebecca, Hatchett, Island of the Blue Dolphins and many more contemporary novels as well.
