Hello!  I am excited for a great year of learning, growing, and having fun!  I am Ms. McMenamin.  I am a Kindergarten Teacher at Kent Island Elementary School!  This will be my 5^th year teaching!  I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Go Phillies and Eagles!  I came down to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and pursued my degree in Human Development with Elementary Education Certification and a minor in Sociology at Washington College.  I am currently pursing my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Reading Education at the University of Virginia.  A fun fact about me is I love to swim!  I swam competitively for 15 years and even at Washington College.  I love the backstroke and butterfly.  Another fun fact is I am getting married in June of 2021!  I am looking forward to a great year together!
