Welcome to my page!

My name is Kathryn Towers and I am a seventh grade ELA teacher here at Matapeake Middle School. I grew up on Kent Island and have attended grade school here. Working in Queen Anne's County, as a teacher, has always been a dream of mine and I am excited to be able to fulfill it here at Matapeake Middle. I am a graduate from Salisbury University, where I received my BA degree in Education.  My goal for this school year is to not only improve my student's ELA skills, but to also have them develop a love for reading!
