I live in Wye Mills with my husband and children. My family has our own little zoo: kitties (Bella and Gizmo), frogs (Yogi and Boo Boo), and turtle (Fred). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, fishing, reading, movies, bowling, meeting new people, and being outdoors.

My teaching career began in 2005. I taught at the secondary level for eight years before I decided to try something new and begin my journey at the elementary level! I taught in Charles and St. Mary’s County, as well as in Alexandria, Virginia.

I received my undergraduate degree from Frostburg University, and my master’s degree in Educational Administration from Trinity University in Washington D.C.
