Hello, my name is Samantha Cannon. I am a QACHS alumni from the graduating class of 2008. After high school, I attended Chesapeake College, earning my A.A.T. degree in Early Childhood Education. From there, I continued with my education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and earned my B.A. degree in the Arts of Education with a concentration in Special Education. This summer I completed my graduate program through Grand Canyon University and earned my M.A. in Autism Spectrum Disorders. This will be my 9th year as a special education teacher at QACHS. I am one of the PACS teachers which focuses on teaching students who are pursuing a Maryland Certificate of Completion. The PACS program focuses on increasing and improving the soft skills and independence needed to be as employable and successful as possible, once students leave the Lion's Den!
