Mr. Wright holds a B.S. of Ed. in Music Education from Malone College, Canton, OH and a Masters of Education in Applied Technology in Education from Wilmington University, Newark, DE.  This is Mr. Wright’s twentieth year as the Director of Bands at QACHS.  In addition to his responsibilities as Director of Bands, he currently teaches Guitar Musicianship and has taught A.P. Music Theory, Music Theory, and Music History.  Mr. Wright has also taught Elementary Music, Chorus, and Band in the Lake Forest School District in Delaware.  He was selected as Teacher of the Year for Lake Forest South Elementary in 2002 and was nominated for QACPS Teacher of the Year in 2011, 2019, and 2022.  Mr. Wright served as the Treasurer for the Eastern Shore Band Director’s Association from 2012 – 2016.  In his spare time, he enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time with his wife Amber and two children, Emma and Andrew.
