I would like to welcome all my students and families back for the new semester! I am very excited for this new school year and cannot wait to see all my students! I began my teaching career at Queen Anne's County High school in 2008. In the last 14 years, I have had the opportunity to teach many science classes such as Physics, Honors Chemistry, Chemistry, Honors Environmental, Marine Biology and even AP physics, all at QACHS. Prior to accepting a position with QACPS in 2008, I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Education. Not far after that, in December 2013, I earned a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Salisbury University where I earned my administration-I certification. In 2017, I also earned a Master of Arts degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math called STEM education from University of Maryland of Baltimore County. I look forward to working with my students, their families and the community! Best wishes for an excellent school year!
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.--Martin Luther King, Jr
