Degrees and Certifications:
BA and BS Duquesne University MA Washington College National Board Certified Teacher
Mrs. Biringer
Thank you for visiting my webpage. This year will be my 22nd year of teaching, and I have called QACHS my home for 19 of those years. Like many of my students, I grew up here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After graduating from St. Michaels High School, I attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, from which I graduated summa cum laude and obtained a BS degree in Secondary English Education and a BA degree in English. After teaching at Dundalk High School in Baltimore for two years, and at Berkeley High School in South Carolina for a year, I found my way back to the Eastern Shore and began my QACHS career in 2004. Shortly thereafter, I received my MA in English Literature from Washington College. In 2009, I was honored to achieve National Board Certification. Now approaching the latter half of my career, I continue to welcome new learning opportunities on my journey as an educator.
In addition to teaching English III, English III Honors, English IV, and AP English Language and Composition, I am the advisor of both the PRISM Club and the Young Explorers Club here at QACHS.
