About ARISE Academy

  • ARISE Academy serves the needs of students who are not able to attend their public high school in Queen Anne’s County.  ARISE has a small teacher to student ratio, which provides additional academic support to students who are not meeting success in a traditional classroom setting. Students who are at risk for academic failure, causing disruption in their home school, excessively absent, dealing with school anxiety, or returning to public school after placement in a juvenile facility may be eligible for enrollment at ARISE.  Recommendations for admission into ARISE are made by the student’s current school administrator in conjunction with the school’s student support team, or the Superintendent of Queen Anne’s County schools.
